Hurghada Snorkeling Trip Price

A snorkelling trip from Hurghada costs from US$9 to US$53 a person across the trips compared here, before pickup surcharges and any fee collected on the day, and private boats are priced per group. Go Shalabi’s Hurghada: 3 Islands, Dolphins & Snorkel Yacht Trip w/ Lunch is from US$45 (checked November 2026); on 27 November 2026, 20 January and 10 March 2027 its option list showed US$55.73 a person with Hurghada pickup. For that you get three islands, two snorkelling stops with a guide, breakfast and a seafood lunch, which is more of a day than the cheaper beach trips sell.

The order changes once you add what each price leaves out. Aqua Red Reef’s US$9 trip asks another EUR 10 a person in cash, and the GetYourGuide Orange Bay day at US$28 has no hotel transport in its cheapest option.

Where the from-price and the option list part

On five of the six GetYourGuide listings we read in the option list, the from-price on the calendar was lower than any option on the dates we read. The calendar is the place to look before you pay:

What the extra money buys

The cheapest days sell a boat, a beach stop and two swims on a reef. Above that, the money buys one of three things.

More stops. Go Shalabi’s three-island day adds Magawish Island and a second reef to the hour at Orange Bay; its six-island speedboat day makes three snorkelling stops and visits a sandbank, with lunch as an add-on.

Comfort. Royal Cruise Hurghada's cruise adds a massage for each guest and an open buffet; Miniature Egypt Hurghada's cruise lists two toilets and four showers on board.

Your own boat. Private options are priced per boat: on the dates we read, Go Shalabi’s private yacht with dolphins and one island was US$445.86 and with three islands US$557.32, and Zanetta Tours’ private Orange Bay boat US$700.00 (checked November 2026).

Fees paid on the day

Fees paid on the day differ by listing; check each listing’s includes before you book. Trip by trip:

• Go Shalabi's speedboat trip, six-island day and dolphin yacht trip: “Nature Reserve Fee: €5 per person (adult/child), not included. Pay by cash, Visa, or payment link.”
• Miniature Egypt Hurghada's cruise: the entry fees to Orange Island and the nature reserve fee are included.
• Zanetta Tours' Orange Bay day: Orange Bay entry fees included.
• Royal Cruise Hurghada's cruise: tax and the marine fee included.
• Aqua Red Reef: EUR 10 of national park fees, paid in cash. Red Sea Vibes: EUR 5 a person in cash. Sea Star Hurghada: national park fees and VAT in cash on site, amount not given.

We found no current amount for the Giftun visit fee published by an Egyptian authority, so the figures above are the operators'.

Pickup from outside Hurghada

Most listings add a charge for hotels in Makadi Bay, Sahl Hasheesh, El Gouna, Soma Bay or Safaga, as a dearer option or as an extra paid at checkout or in cash. Some operators charge it in euros: EUR 5 a person from Makadi Bay or Sahl Hasheesh and EUR 10 from El Gouna or Soma Bay on Aqua Red Reef’s, Red Sea Vibes’ and Sea Star Hurghada’s trips; the first two charge EUR 10 from Safaga too. Pickup outside Hurghada goes through each trip.
